Oreo

Oreo is 5 years old and had recently lost her best friend leaving her all alone.  We got a call if she was able to come to the sanctuary where she would have lots of chicken friends.

This precious gal entered sanctuary where she isolated in quarantine for two weeks allowing her to get her happy back and some extra luvins and to ensure she was free from parasites and in tip top shape to be introduced to the rest of the flock.

An enormous amount of work went into the Compassion Coop to make her quarantine healing space safe from predators and all the special touches to let her know she is loved. Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this space possible ~ we are so grateful.

Welcome home Oreo! She now resides in the big chicken coop & run where she hangs with bestie Tophu Lishus and all the other hens.
